Guest Instructors at Sundance Saloon
Thursday, April 23
7:00 - Lee Fox, Advanced Waltz (drop-in)
7:45 - Meredith Stead, Intermediate WCS (reserve in advance)

Lee FoxWe welcome two fabulous visiting instructors to Sundance Saloon on Thursday, April 23.

Lee Fox will teach advanced waltz in the Main Room from 7:00 to 7:40 pm. You must be proficient in waltz to take this class! This class is drop-in, with no advance reservations necessary, and no additional fee. We just ask that you be on time!

Meredith SteadMeredith Stead will teach intermediate west coast swing in the Cocoa Room from 7:45 to 8:30 pm. This class is limited to 32 participants: 16 leaders and 16 followers. There is no additional fee for this class, but you must reserve your place in advance: http://sundancewcs.bpt.me/.

Lee Fox (Ft. Lauderdale) and Meredith Stead (New York) are no strangers to San Francisco, as both are regular featured instructors at the Sundance Stompede. Both are also choreographers, and have won and judged at many same-sex competitions including IAGLCWDC events. Lee Fox is also the IAGLCWDC Dance Competition Director.

Expand your horizons as Michael Metzger and guests introduce a new line dance each session! These sessions are meant to be informal, and will feature a mix of lessons and line dancing with dances that are not featured during our regular Sundance Saloon time. We hope to satisfy even the most die-hard line dance aficionado! (Line dance pro sessions will not be held the first week of each month.)

Beatbox CountryOur monthly Saturday night dance at Beatbox continues! It's a fantastic space, with a gorgeous hardwood floor, awesome sound system, fully-stocked bar, and convenient south-of-Market location. Usually the first Saturday of the month. 6:00–9:30 pm, with beginning lessons 6:00–7:00 pm. $8 admission.


Mother's Day Ball at Sundance Saloon
Sunday, May 10

mother's day We're having our fourth annual Mother's Day Ball on Sunday, May 10!

Please send us photos of yourself with your Mom, or if you're a Mom, one of you with your kids - and we'll show the photos on the big screen during the night. You can send your photos to: mothers@sundancesaloon.org. Please identify your photo with description and names. (Recommended minimum size 640x480 pixels.) We must receive photos by Friday, May 8.

And to encourage folks to bring their Moms, and for all our resident Moms to attend - all Moms get in free on this night!
