Summer Round-Up at Sundance Saloon
Sunday, September 5: Special hours 4:00 - 9:30 pm
On Sunday, September 5 (Labor Day Weekend), Sundance Saloon opens and closes early due to another event that follows us at space550. There are lots of specially added attractions to make this a great afternoon and evening of dancing and merriment. Admission $5 as usual.
- 4:00 – 7:00pm: parking lot BBQ brought to you by the Bay Area Chapter of the Golden State Gay Rodeo Association.
- 4:00 – 5:30pm: line dance marathon in the Main Room
- 4:30 – 5:30pm: beginning two-step lessons in the Green Room
- 5:30 – 6:00pm: line dance lesson in the Main Room (Circle Jerk)
- 6:00 – 9:30pm: open dancing in the Main Room
Beginning-Plus Two-step Lessons at Sundance Saloon
Sundays, September 12, 19 and 26. 5:30 - 6:30 pm
We offer a series of lessons to help dancers who have learned two-step basics, but don't yet have the skills for our intermediate classes. These workshops are aimed at bridging the gap between the beginning and intermediate level lessons. (We continue to offer beginning two-step classes every Sunday and Thursday, and intermediate classes every Thursday.)
This "beginning-plus" two-step series will take place on Sundays September 12, 19 and 26, 5:30-6:30. These classes are drop-in, with no additional fee, and no advanced registration.
Dance Workshops at Vima Dance Studio
Saturday, Sept. 11
Another in a series of dance workshops taught by members of the Vima Vice Squad to benefit the Vima Vice Squad performance group and Sundance Saloon. These classes will be held at the Vima Dance Studio.
Cost for the classes is $20/class, or $30 for 2 classes on the same night, or $45 for 3 classes. Register at 415-977-0203.

Line Dancing in the Castro
Saturday, September 18: 7:00 - 10:00 pm
Magnet, 4122 18th St., San Francisco
Line dancing in the Castro continues on the third Saturday of the month. Join us at Magnet, 4122 18th Street (near Castro), San Francisco from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on Saturday night, September 18, for lessons and dancing, with a focus on contemporary line dances. There will be an advanced line dance lesson at 7:15 pm and a beginning line dance lesson at 9:30 pm. Admission is free.

The Sundance Stompede is our huge annual country-western dance weekend for the LGBT community and its friends, with awesome dance parties, hours and hours of fantastic dance workshops, plus lots of extra touches to make your weekend a most enjoyable one.
