WBNA VALKYRIES VS. DREAM. We will show the game starting at 5:00 in the bar area of Sundance Saloon, prior to Sundance Saloon officially opening.

Note: There is another dance at the host hotel on this night, for folks who don't want the hassle of having to get to Sundance Saloon. We still hope you'll join us, and consider attending both, as the hotel dance will go much later than the Sundance Saloon dance. Transportation

We want to help you get you from the hotel to Sundance Saloon and back again as efficiently and inexpensively as possible.

Uber / Lyft / Waymo / Taxi

These all will cost about $20 one-way from the Holiday Inn at 1500 Van Ness Avenue to Sundance Saloon at 550 Barneveld Avenue, subject to surge pricing. Waymo is the driverless robotaxi service that’s pretty cool to ride in if you haven’t before. One advantage of Waymo is that you do not tip any driver. One advantage of a traditional taxi is that there is no surge pricing. Plan on 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

To make it easy to share a ride with up to four people in a car, there will be a designated transit meeting spot in the hotel lobby to find up to four passengers on the fly. We’ll have a designated spot at Sundance Saloon as well for folks heading back to the hotel.

Transit meeting area at the Holiday Inn.

Or, you can check in with the Fog Town WhatsApp group to pre-arrange a ride with others at a designated time. To join the WhatsApp group, contact the Fog Town Hoedown folks.

Suggestion – plan on carrying some $5s and $1s, so splitting the cost is easy. Not everyone has Venmo.

Can you offer a ride?

If you are driving and can shuttle folks from the hotel to Sundance Saloon and/or back again, check the WhatsApp group to find riders, or check the transit meeting spot while you're on your way.

MUNI

To save even more money, the public bus (MUNI) is pretty straightforward to use and costs just $3. You can use any contactless payment to pay, such as a credit card with a chip or your phone. The trip takes about 45 minutes and involves one easy free transfer. See our detailed directions here.

One idea is to meet in the hotel lobby at the transit-meeting spot at 5:45 pm on Thursday or 4:30 pm on Sunday and travel by MUNI together with other like-minded adventurers.
